Digital IF

Modernize Your Ground System Without Starting Over

Built for More Flexible Signal Transport

IFLEX Digitizer helps operators bridge analog and digital environments while supporting more flexible SATCOM network designs. Moving signals into a digital environment earlier in the workflow makes them easier to transport, route, and scale.

That helps support both existing infrastructure and newer digital architectures without forcing a complete rebuild.

Why Operators Use IFLEX Digitizer

Support Gradual Modernization

Bridge legacy analog infrastructure and newer digital environments without replacing everything at once.

Improve Transport Flexibility

Move digitized signals across high-speed digital networks with more routing and deployment flexibility.

Add More Capability in Less Space

Support high channel density in a compact 1U platform.

Support Scalable Digital Workflows

Create a stronger foundation for distributed and virtualized signal-processing environments.

Where the IFLEX Digitizer Fits

Moving to Digital IF changes how signals are handled, how networks are built, and how systems scale.

USE CASES:

Modernizing Existing Infrastructure

Add digital signal transport to legacy environments without redesigning the entire architecture.

Supporting Distributed Facilities

Transport digitized signals across high-speed networks between systems, locations, and operational teams.

Feeding Modern Processing Environments

Support software-based waveforms, virtualized processing workflows, and distributed signal analysis environments.

IFLEX-D

IFLEX Digitizer supports up to 12 digitized signal channels in a 1U platform and includes dual 100 GbE interfaces for high-speed digital transport.

As L-band switching systems bottleneck capacity, the ground segment will transition to digital IF networks. Migrating legacy devices to digital IF requires a stop-gap before a fully digitized deployment. The IFLEX-D supports up to 12 digitized signal channels — that could be configurable for RX-only or full-duplex operation — with 12 RX and 12 TX ports in a compact 1U form factor.

As virtualized processing evolves, applications such as waveforms and signal analysis require digitized access for the analog domain. The IFLEX-D digitizes up to 1000 MHz of analog bandwidth for each channel.
